In the summer of 2013, when we heard that Queen Victoria Public School was short on funds for their annual summer celebration, we decided to help out. Queen Victoria is a vibrant community school located near the JAM office that serves a diverse range of families – many living on annual household incomes of less than $40K. Our desire to support both youth-focused and local initiatives seamlessly coincided when we were able to fund the Queen Victoria PS Summer Party and donate to their breakfast program.
